Supplementary support for transport and the press sector as war in Ukraine extends
The Baltic state of Estonia and passed measures to reduces taxes to reflect the ongoing security position in the region following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The changes include:
- Excise diesel is cut to the EU lowest levels
- VAT on newspapers and journals is moved from the 9% to the 5% reduced rates to support the press sector (1st August 2022)
