Norway has extended further the VAT repayment scheme to assist businesses during the COVID-19 crisis.
Norway has already deferred VAT payments twice, and agreed to VAT deferments will not have to start being paid until 31 October 2021. The prior start date was 30 June. The new repayment plan may be stretched over 12 months until October 2022. Previously the timing had been 6 months.

Norway has temporarily cut its VAT rate on accommodation, tourism, cultural event admissions and public transport to 6% from 12%.
